Herds of up to 300 elephants scour the dry riverbed in search of other streams in this national park, and eland masses of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and wildebeest reduce lagoon levels. It is the only location in Tanzania where dry-country antelope like the regal fringe-eared oryx and unusual long-necked gerenuk are commonly spotted. It also boasts the highest concentration of species outside the Serengeti habitat. It is the only national park that welcomes a variety of animal species and houses migrants during the dry season.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which was formed almost three million years ago by the eruption of a volcano, is a crater of unparalleled grandeur that you will traverse. The Ngorongoro Caldera's amazing majesty will be seen to you before you continue on to the Serengeti National Park. In Maa, the Maasai language, serenget means "endless plain." By late evening, you will arrive in the Serengeti. Tanzania's largest park, Serengeti National Park, features a variety of environments and landforms, including grassy plains, lakes, marshes, savannahs, and mountains. Thousands of animals can be seen searching for food and water here during the largest wildebeest and zebra migration, which happens every year depending on the season. You may enjoy a continuous game-viewing experience as the animals are allowed to move freely across the unfenced habitats. When you reach the crater's edge, you'll get your first look at the endless array of animals, broad grasslands, and shimmering streams that await you the next day. Ngorongoro Crater
Visit the Ngorongoro Crater before returning to Arusha.
Those that rise early are rewarded with magnificent views of the sun rising over the edge of the crater. You will drive down the daring route into the crater after a filling brunch. One of Africa's Seven Wonders and home to one of the planet's most amazing ecosystems, this UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was created by a tremendous volcanic explosion millions of years ago. It encompasses over 260 square kilometers and is 610 meters deep. Of all the parks in Tanzania, the crater provides the best game watching because of its rich animal population, which numbers about 25,000. You can view some of the more than 500 bird species in the area as well as elephants, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests in a couple of minutes. If you're lucky, you might be able to see the endangered black rhino through the grass.
