Your Tanzania African safari guide will pick you up and embark on the journey to Serengeti, providing lunch boxes for the 7- to 8-hour drive. As you depart from Arusha town and traverse the Maasai steppe, witness the ever-changing landscape minute by minute. Encounter Maasai people adorned in red, blue, or violet fabrics, tending to their cattle, and women fetching water with their donkeys.
Approximately 3 hours into the drive, you'll enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, transitioning into a natural setting where diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, Cape buffaloes, gazelles, and waterbucks, becomes visible. With luck, you may even spot predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. Arrival in Serengeti is scheduled for the afternoon, allowing time for a game drive before heading to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater
Indulge in an early breakfast at the camp before setting out with lunch boxes for a tour of Ngorongoro Crater.
