Day 1

Depart from Nairobi via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. We will briefly stop at the famous viewpoint for a scenic view of the rifts, then proceed to Narok for a hot lunch, and finally to the camp. After resting, embark on an evening game drive for about 2-3 hours. Finally, return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave for a full day game drive until 5:00pm and enjoy a picnic lunch in the afternoon. Masai Mara is unique, covered with savannah grasslands on rolling hills, a truly scenic view. The game drives us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan national reserve. It also has a good track network, allowing close proximity to wildlife and excellent photo opportunities. Dinner and overnight stay at Lechada Camp.

Day 3

Depart for a visit to a local Masai village, then, before 9:00am, return to the camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, we proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, eating lunch en route. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha, and even enjoy an optional fun activity of boat riding. Finally, proceed to Nakuru for your dinner and overnight stay at Hill Court.

Have a pre-breakfast before an early morning game drive in Amboseli and enjoy views of Mt Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. You will be in close proximity to wildlife for spectacular sightings. Keep an eye out for the giant elephants and their leader, a matriarch (an old female elephant). An abundance of birds is found in the park, perfect for bird enthusiasts. Enjoy a picnic breakfast and lunch during the day. Transfer to Manjaro Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Have a pre-breakfast, then set out for the early morning game drive at 6:30am in the swampy Amboseli. Various herbivores, such as hippos and large elephants with their calves, wallow in the muddy swamps. Return to the camp for a full breakfast and check out. From here, you transfer to the Namanga border, where you will catch a shuttle bus to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, our driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and breakfast.

We will depart from Arusha in the early hours of the day and drive to Tarangire National Park where colossal termite mounds and ancient baobab trees await us. This park is renowned for their immense elephant population, their picturesque scenery and diverse bird life. Tarangire has an enticing wildlife that includes elephants, lions, giraffe, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes and baboons.

Breakfast will be served, and then check out and leave Kizumba for Serengeti, a four-hour drive. At the main gate, registration will take place, and then we will be off for an afternoon game drive. You will have at least six hours of game driving before proceeding to Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera area. The Serongera area features the Seronera River, providing a valuable water source and attracting many of Serengeti’s wildlife. Seronera is also one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.

You will arrive at Nyani Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti is massive, and staying in the central area provides easy access to large concentrations of wildlife during the game drives.

Serengeti Full Day Game Drive

Serengeti Full Day Game Drive

After an early breakfast, we leave the camp with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing, tracking the wildebeest migration and the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino). An early morning game drive ensures sights of nocturnal mammals, herbivores, and predators, and by midday, you will mostly see herbivores as they visit the waterbodies to quench their thirst. In the evening, predators and other nocturnal mammals leave their hideouts to start their night hunts.

You may also take a game drive to the Grumeti River to see crocodiles and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a picnic site and continue the game drive until 5:00pm. Return to Nyani Campsites for dinner and an overnight stay.

Have an early breakfast at the camp, then leave with picnic lunches for a six-hour game drive within Serengeti National Park. Here, you will track wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, black rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, bushbuck, lesser kudu, wild dog, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, black-backed jackal, mongoose, olive baboons, and vervet monkeys. You might even see more! By midday, leave the park with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge (at an extra cost of $50 per person). By evening, arrive at the conservancy area, where you will have dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Breakfast at the camp, then leave for a game drive within the Ngorongoro Crater. In the crater, you will have sightings of lions, African elephants, black rhinos, blue wildebeest, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. Wild dogs, Grant's zebras, African buffalo, and hippos are usually spotted near the crater rim. A picnic lunch close to the crater follows before ascending to the main gate and exiting the crater. Drive to Kizumba Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

In the morning, we will depart to Lake Manyara where we will spend the day and enjoy a delectable picnic lunch. The park is nestled at the base of the rusty gold Great Rift Valley escarpment and the scenic landscape is breathtakingly magnificent. An abundance of species are able to reside in the park due to the wide range of habitats. The park record consists of over 380 species of birds, some of which are migratory, making it the ideal location for bird watchers. Thousands of pink-hued flamingos occupy the margin of the lake; other large water birds include pelicans, storks and cormorants. The wildlife you can expect to see are buffalo, elephants, giraffe, impalas and the ferocious hippos that inhabit the water. Our trip will come to an end in the late afternoon. We will proceed to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa.
