1-Day Kilimanjaro Hike Marangu Route Trek to Mandara Hut

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Morning: Early morning departure to Kilimanjaro National Park gate, which is the starting point for the Marangu route.
Arrive at the gate, complete necessary registration and permit procedures, and Begin your ascent through the lush rainforest zone, enjoying the scenic beauty and diverse flora and fauna of Kilimanjaro's lower slopes.

Afternoon: As you ascend higher, the vegetation changes from rainforest to moorland, with expansive views of the surrounding landscapes.
Reach your highest point for the day, which may vary depending on your pace and fitness level. The Marangu day hike typically aims to reach either Mandara Hut (2,700 meters) or Maundi Crater (2,780 meters), both offering panoramic views of the mountain and surrounding plains.
Spend some time at the viewpoint, taking photos and enjoying the breathtaking scenery before beginning your descent.
Late Afternoon: Start your descent back to the Marangu gate, retracing your steps through the rainforest.
