Momella Gate - Miriakamba Hut

After breakfast at around 8:30 a.m., the journey begins from Moshi, driving to Momella gate. After payment, the climb starts with a picnic lunch, heading towards the initial destination, Miriakamba Hut, where dinner and an overnight stay await. The trek lasts approximately 3½ hours.

Miriakamba - Saddle Hut

Following breakfast, the ascent continues toward the second hut, Saddle Hut. This segment is notably steeper compared to the initial part and lasts approximately 2½ hours. In the afternoon, adventurers can attempt a climb to the Little Meru peak and return. Dinner and overnight accommodations await at Saddle Hut.

Awaken in the middle of the night and savor a cup of tea before embarking on the ascent to the Big Meru peak. Navigate rocky paths to reach the summit and return to Saddle Hut for a hearty breakfast. The remainder of the day is dedicated to rest. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at Saddle Hut.

Saddle Hut - Momella Gate

Bid farewell to Saddle Hut and descend to Momella Gate via the first hut, Miriakamba. From there, you will be transported to Arusha or Moshi.

You will overnight at the 4-star Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Before departing for your next adventure, whether it's a safari or a leisurely trip to Zanzibar, take a moment to relax and reflect on your remarkable Mount Meru journey.
