Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You leave Arusha after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads for Tarangire National Park, the least visited reserve on the itinerary but one capable of delivering fantastic game viewing. Home to Tanzania’s biggest elephant population, Tarangire supports large numbers of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many antelope species, most evident during the dry season when concentrations of animals at the life-giving Tarangire River are at their peak. You stop at a picnic site and enjoy your lunch with breath-taking views of the park’s landscape and the river below you, and maybe in the company of elephants drinking and digging water from the sand River banks, after lunch proceeds with game viewing and the late evening proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Karatu to Serengeti National Park (North)
Depart this morning for a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti en route to the northern section of the park. The central part is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that are usually seen frequently and easily. Game viewing in the central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, jackals, hyenas, hyrax, and many more. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Baobab tented Camp.

Exploring Serengeti Migration Mara River Crossing
Rise early for a morning game drive along the Mara River. It is truly an amazing experience to see all those hoofed mammals in search of water and greener pastures, followed by iconic predators. A journey is full of danger where only the strongest survive. You may also see hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, and if you are lucky the endangered black rhino. After an extensive day of game viewing late in the evening, you head back to Serengeti Baobab Tented Camp for dinner and overnight. The wildebeest crossing the Mara River is one of the obstacles of the Great Migration, where some will be washed by the flowing water, some will be taken by crocodiles, and even more, some will stable on each other as they try to navigate gently nature of the river course.

Serengeti National Park (North) to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you will return to Seronera with further opportunities to experience the incredible wildlife and natural beauty of the Serengeti.
Apart from the migrating herds, we may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.
After an extensive game drive, we will head out to our accommodation for a hearty dinner and another night by the fire. We will relax and have a conversation under the sweeping majesty of the star bright African night out upon the ‘Endless Plain’.

Serengeti -Ngorongoro Crater -Karatu
After breakfast, we depart Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro for a game drive in the Ngorongoro crater. Late in the afternoon, we drive back to the lodge, the jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un-flooded, and unbroken caldera in the world. About 21 km across, 600 meters deep, and 265 sq. km in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here, the open grass plains where grazers like zebra wildebeest and buffaloes can be seen grazing and lions laying lazily, the forest and swamps are perfect areas to look for big tusker elephants and hippos busking on the edges to warm their bodies. After an extensive day of game viewing head to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast leaves the camp and proceeds to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of game viewing an area Hemingway described as, “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. Lake Manyara National Park is a naturalist’s delight thanks to its diverse environments. Ranging from the underground-water forest and acacia woodlands to grasslands, swamps, marshes, and hot springs, the park is simply packed with wildlife. Over 400 species of bird have been recorded including large flocks of flamingos and migratory water birds. Manyara’s forests ring with the call of monkeys and birds while its acacia woodlands are home to Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions and slow-strolling elephants. The park is also home to the largest troops of baboons in Africa, zebra wildebeest, giraffe, hippos, leopard, and impala, and in the late evening leave the park, and drive back to Arusha, and you will be dropped at the airport or your chosen accommodation.
