After breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive carrying a packed picnic lunch. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and is one of the few places where you have the chance to see the Big Five during an early morning game drive. Many cheetahs seek shelter from the hot sun under safari vehicles and even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded. Among these are 16 species of eagles, hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustards, and 9 species of sunbirds. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

You will wake up early for a full breakfast. Thereafter, you'll leave for Lake Nakuru to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. You will have an afternoon game drive in the park until evening. This park is a renowned paradise for bird watchers with its high population of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos. They form a very beautiful deep-pink coloration around the edges of the lakeshore. Apart from the flamingos, there are also over 400 species of birds visiting the lake. Other animals seen in the park include Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos, waterbucks, reedbucks, lions, buffalos, leopards, baboons, and several other species of plains game.
