Fly from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park

Early in the morning, our professional drive will pick you up at your desired hotel in Zanzibar. The adventure will begin at Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight around 6 am to Mtemere Airstrip (Nyerere National Park).
Upon arrival, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the park. You'll witness diverse wildlife, from elephants and lions to giraffes and zebras. You will have your hot lunch in the park. Then, you will continue with your game drive later in the evening and return to Selous Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early Walking Safari, Village Visit Safari and Sunset Boat Safari

In the morning after breakfast, our guide will pick you up at the hotel. You'll enjoy an early morning bush walk accompanied by an experienced guide. Immerse yourself in the park's flora and fauna.
In the afternoon, you will visit a nearby Maasai village for a cultural experience. You'll learn about their traditions, witness their dances, and interact with the local community, around 4 pm you will leave for a boat safari at the great Rufiji River.
In the evening, you will return to Selous Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Fly Out to Zanzibar

After the morning breakfast, you will drive into the vast Nyerere National Park to explore the diverse wildlife and undisturbed nature for a full-day game drive. Countless elephants and buffaloes, pride of lions, giraffes, zebras, and impalas are quite common. Nyerere National Park is also famous for having many African wild dogs compared to any other national park in Tanzania

On this game drive, our guide will take you to Hotspring where there is a spring with hot water and you can have some enjoyment by swimming in the spring. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch break from a safe vantage point while taking in the beautiful scenery and keeping an eye out for wildlife in their natural habitat. Later at around 3:00 p.m., you’ll begin your drive back to Mtemere Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
