After breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park. It is Tanzania's third-largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to 6,000 thousand elephants. You'll enjoy game drives with a picnic lunch. After lunch and an extensive game drive inside the park, we will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest unbroken calderas on the planet, with over 25,000 wild creatures. It has more prides per capita than anywhere on earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five - lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalos. It is one of the world’s most astonishing parks, the 8th Wonder of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The black rhino can easily be seen in the crater. There is no other place in the world where you can see such a unique setting with diverse scenery, prolific wildlife and birdlife; it's a unique ecosystem. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive to your accommodation in Serengeti for dinner and your overnight stay.

You have a full day to spend in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences, and this day will be organized according to your wishes. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Later, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Serengeti National Park to Karatu
After an early breakfast, you will continue exploring the vast Serengeti with its endless plains, looking for the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for African safaris. It is the migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November. They'll swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can hold them back.
After lunch, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Journey's End - Lake Manyara's Farewell Moments - Arusha
After breakfast at your accommodation, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game-viewing drive and a picnic lunch. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants and Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. You'll also see large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will have lunch at a picnic site and, afterwards, further game viewing.
Later, you'll drive back to Arusha or the airport to catch your flight to the next destination.
