Day 1

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from the airport or your Arusha lodging and head straight to Tarangire National Park, located in the Manyara Region. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through it. Covering 2,600 square kilometers, it is Tanzania's sixth-largest national park and famous for its large elephant herds. While drier than the Serengeti, its lush vegetation includes expansive grasslands, acacia woodlands, and vibrant ribbons of aquatic forest.
The park is also home to the iconic baobab trees, some of which are over 600 years old and can store between 300 to 900 liters of water. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a lunch break before continuing your game drive, exploring the park's diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes until late afternoon.

Day 2

After breakfast, you'll be picked up and driven to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Tanzania and the opportunity to visit the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti plains. The park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to over 2 million ungulates, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and 500 bird species across nearly 15,000 square kilometers.
Most visitors come to witness the spectacular migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and elands. This awe-inspiring migration follows a seasonal cycle driven by rainfall and the search for fresh grass and water.
Lunch will be served in the van during the safari. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at the Serengeti rest house where you'll rest, enjoy a meal, and reflect on the incredible wildlife experiences of the day.

Day 3

Embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s premier wildlife destinations. Explore the vast plains of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to incredible wildlife. Serengeti is famed for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the park in search of fresh grass and water, creating a breathtaking sight.
Throughout the day, encounter Africa’s “Big Five” – lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos – along with cheetahs, giraffes, and diverse bird species. Traverse the park’s varied landscapes, from savannahs to riverbeds, offering chances to see wildlife in different habitats.
A lunch break in the park allows time to relax and reflect. Continue your game drive as the day unfolds, capturing unforgettable moments and immersing yourself in the Serengeti’s beauty. This is a chance to witness the majestic wildlife and stunning landscapes that define this iconic park.

After an unforgettable experience in the Ngorongoro Crater, we will begin our journey back to Arusha. As you ascend from the crater rim, take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, including lush highlands and vast plains. Along the way, you may encounter local villages, giving you a glimpse into the daily life of Tanzania’s communities.
The drive to Arusha offers a relaxing opportunity to reflect on the incredible wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery you've witnessed throughout your safari. Upon arrival in Arusha, we will drop you off at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Kikuletwa and materuni water falls
Kikuletwa and materuni water falls
A day trip from Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls and Kikuletwa Hot Springs blends nature and culture. Materuni village, about 2 hours away, offers scenic views and a guided 45-minute hike to the 200-foot waterfall, where visitors can swim. Afterward, a coffee tour introduces the Chagga people’s traditional coffee-making process, including harvesting, roasting, and tasting, often paired with a local meal. The trip continues to Kikuletwa Hot Springs, known for its crystal-clear warm waters, ideal for relaxation. Tours typically include transport, guides, lunch, and entry fees, with prices starting at around $104 per person. Booking in advance is recommended for availability.
