Nairobi to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

You will report to Nairobi SGR terminus by 7:00 am. Depart Nairobi by 8:00am with the Madaraka Express train economy class heading to Voi where upon arrival at the train station, you will be picked up by your driver guide and transferred to the lodge with check in and a little rest as you enjoy the lodge's facilities and later on have lunch. After lunch, you will have a short rest before departing for your afternoon game drive in the park where you will get a chance to visit the artifacts museum of Taita Hills Safari Resort. Later on, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Explore Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

On this day, you will wake up for breakfast before heading out for a game drive in the conservancy. During your game drive, you will have a chance to see the big cats of Tsavo and other animals like the elephant, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetah, buffaloes, diverse plants and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. Later on, you will go back to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before going for an afternoon game drive.

Taita Hills to Nairobi

After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred with an en-route game drive to Voi train station for your train back to Nairobi. Your pick up from the Nairobi train station can be arranged at a small fee.
