3-Day Gorilla Trekking in the Misty Jungles of Bwindi

Drive from Kampala to Bwindi

You will be picked from the hotel or the Airport by our English speaking guide/driver, he will brief you shortly about the safari before starting the journey, you will after start the journey through to Bwindi. The journey takes between 5-8 hours. You will have a stop over at the equator for photography and shopping of souvenirs, you will then proceed to Mbarara for Lunch. After Lunch you proceed with the Journey through Ntugamo where you will beautiful Banana plantations and the amazing terraces in the hills of Kabale.
Upon your arrival you will check in the lodge, relax with beautiful views of Bwindi Forest, have dinner and overnight.

Gorilla tracking , Batwa walk and Transfer to lake Bunyonyi

You will wake up early morning for your breakfast and prepare to set off to the briefing point. Here you will have a cultural dance entertainment before the briefing. After you will be told what to expect, the do's and don'ts while with the gorillas. You will the enter the misty jungle in search of Gorillas, after finding them you will spent one hour interacting and taking photographs. Your guide will be waiting for you at the setting off point, you will be handed your gorilla tracking certificates and later return to the lodge for freshening up, relaxing and lunch.
Later in the afternoon you will prepare for the community cultural walk with the Batwa where you will learn their way of life before they were evicted from the forests.
You will then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, you will arrive late in the evening check in the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Transfer back to Kampala

You will wake in the morning and have your breakfast, you will have a morning boat cruise to the islands on Lake Bunyonyi enjoying the beautiful sceneries, terraces in the hills and learning more about the history of the lake. Your guide will be waiting for you to return and freshen up before starting your long drive to Kampala. He will drive through Large banana plantations in Ntugamo and have a stopover in Mbarara for Lunch and then proceed to Kampala. You will be dropped at the hotel of your choice or at the airport if you have a fight to catch.
