Our representative will meet, assist and transfer you to a Nairobi hotel upon your arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Dinner at the hotel will be at your own cost.

Day 2

Nairobi to Ol-pejeta conservancy

Nairobi to Ol-pejeta conservancy

On this day of the safari, you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi by our safari guide and 7am. After a short briefing, you will embark on a journey to Ol Pejeta conservancy situated between the foothills of the Aberdare Ranges and the magnificent snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. Ol Pejeta conservancy hosts an astounding variety of wildlife including all the members of the Big Five that are black and white rhinos, leopards, elephants, cape buffaloes and lions among others. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon, you will go for a game drive in the pristine wilderness of the conservancy. The game lasts from 1600 hrs to 1830 hrs. Then return to your lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight.

Have breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Take a short rest before heading for an afternoon game drive at 4pm. Known for hosting large numbers of pink flamingos and a huge population of black and white rhinos, lake Nakuru is among the highlight features in the park situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. You shall return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ahead of your journey to the famous Masai Mara national reserve, you will start with breakfast at your lodge in Lake Nakuru national park before checking out. You will have an enroute game viewing as you exit the park.. You will check in at your lodge on arrival in Masai Mara national reserve as you prepare for your lunch. Later have an evening game drive in the reserve at 4pm, looking out for the wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, rhinos, wildebeests, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, gazelles, hyenas, cheetahs, impalas among others. You will also enjoy watching the sunset over the open savannah plains on your way back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today kicks off with breakfast and a full day game drive in one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Optional hot air balloon rides are available on this day at an additional cost. After early breakfast, you shall proceed for an enroute game viewing drive as you head to Serengeti National park in Tanzania. You shall have your park lunches from your lodge in Masai mara. Upon your arrival at the border, there shall be a quick stop for immigration formalities at the Isebania (Kenya / Tanzania) border town. After you are done with the immigration process, meet your Tanzanian English Speaking Safari Driver Guide and proceed to Serengeti National Park arriving in time for game drive in the park while heading to your tented lodge/Camp arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, full day game drive in the park with packed picnic lunches and later on drive back to your tented camp arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight. Today you have an optional hot air balloon safari which shall cost extra.

Or perhaps see everything from a bird’s-eye view and soar over the plains at sunrise during a hot air balloon safari.
