Hotel Pick-up and Travel to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Proceed to Murchison Falls

First, have breakfast and head to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a one-hour on-foot rhino tracking activity. After that, proceed to Masindi for lunch. Once you are done with lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. In this park, you can observe the roaring rapids of the Murchison and the diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. You will also have the chance to see a high concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles. If interested and time allows, you can also go for a late afternoon-evening game drive.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Trip Upstream to the Falls

Start your day with breakfast, then set off for an early morning game drive through the rolling hills plains of Uganda's largest National Park. Look out for wildlife such as lions, and if you are lucky enough, you might spot a leopard! Birdwatchers will also have the opportunity to see a variety of birds during the drive. Return to your accommodation for some rest and lunch. After lunch, embark on a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and many water birds.

Optional activity at $15 per person: If interested, you can also hike to the top of the falls. Although it may be a strenuous hike, the view from the top is truly unforgettable. After the activities, return to your accommodation and unwind.

Drive to the Top of the Falls and Return to either Entebbe or Kampala

After having breakfast, we will drive to the top of the falls to fully appreciate the beauty and magnificence of the Murchison Falls. From there, we will return to either Kampala or Entebbe.
