Kigali to Bwindi National Park(Uganda)

Our guide will meet and greet you in Kigali either at the Airport Upon arrival or at the hotel. From there, we will begin our journey to Uganda, crossing the picturesque Katuna border. Our destination is Uganda's renowned national park Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the majestic Mountain Gorillas. We will arrive at our hotel in Bwindi Forest, where we will settle in and enjoy lunch. After lunch, you have the option to spend the afternoon at your leisure, perhaps taking some time to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Alternatively, we could organize a visit to the Batwa Community for their cultural experience. Thereafter, we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable

In the morning, we leave the hotel early with our packed lunch to the park briefing center where we shall be briefed about the rules and regulations while in the forest. Thereafter we embark on the journey to the dense, lush forests where the gorillas reside. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi can range from 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family you are assigned to. The trek takes you through rugged, steep, and dense forest terrain. It's a physically demanding adventure, so it’s important to be in reasonable physical condition. Once you locate the gorilla family, you’ll spend a maximum of one hour with them. During this time, you can observe the gorillas, learn about their behaviors and interactions. The gorillas are often calm, allowing you to take photographs and enjoy the close-up experience.
After trekking, will drive to Lake Bunyonyi a beautiful lake that offers a wide array of adventurous activities that are perfect for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike.

Transfer Back to Kigali

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the accommodation, our safari guide will escort you to the stunning viewpoint overlooking the waters of Lake Bunyonyi. Following this wonderful experience, we will journey back to either Kigali Airport or Kigali city, depending on your scheduled flight departure.
