Murchison Falls National Park
Your initial pick-up will be either from the hotel or the airport upon arrival. Your professional, English-speaking driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you Murchison Falls National Park. Highlights here include the roaring rapids of Murchison Falls and the vast plains of Uganda’s largest national park, where you can view lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants, among others. Expect a lunch stop en-route. If time allows, you can go for a late afternoon-to-evening game drive/safari.
Note: If starting from the hotel or very early from the airport, it is possible to detour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an hour of rhino tracking. Otherwise, we'll go directly to Murchison.

Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including lions and leopards (although they can be hard to spot). Birders will also enjoy the variety of bird species during the drive. Return to the lodge for some rest and lunch. After lunch, head out on a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can see more animals, including hippos, crocodiles, and several water birds.
If interested, you can continue with a hike to the top of the falls (optional, and cost not included). The hike may be strenuous, but the thrill of reaching the top is unforgettable. Later, you’ll return to your accommodations to relax.

Murchison Falls National Park - Budongo Forest - Hoima
After an early morning wake-up call, you’ll drive to Budongo Forest Reserve (about one hour and 15 minutes). After an 8:00am briefing, you’ll enjoy a guided primate walk in the lush expanse of the tropical forest in search of a habituated chimpanzee family. Your guide will explain more about the animals and plant species that you'll encounter on your way. After the trek, take some rest and have lunch at the lodge. You’ll then make the short transfer to Hoima city for dinner and your overnight stay.

Hoima - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a relaxing breakfast at the hotel, you’ll drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive early enough to have lunch, rest, and then head out for game viewing. During the game drive, look out for wild animals like reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthogs, elephants, lions, and buffaloes (among others). Alternatively, you could choose to go on the Queen’s breathtaking crater drive. This drive offers a sightseeing experience with a spectacular view of the scenery in and around the park. There is also some wildlife to see along the drive, although the most common sights are Cape buffaloes and elephants. Later you’ll make your way to the lodge.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you’ll go on an early morning game drive on the Kasenyi plains. Look out for Cape buffalos, herds of elephants, lions, and leopards (although they can be hard to spot)—among others. Return to the lodge, check out, and then head to the Ishasha Sector in search of tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70%, though sometimes they are hard to see (especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Should you spot them, it will be a picturesque and memorable sight! From Ishasha, you’ll continue to your accommodations at the edge of Bwindi National Park (Ruhija sector), arriving around 6:00pm.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast and then head to the rangers’ post, where you’ll receive a briefing from a ranger guide on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You’ll then enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape that is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Later you’ll return to the lodge, check out, and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for your overnight stay.

Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe
Enjoy an early breakfast and then make your way into Lake Mburu National Park for your walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide. On this guided walk, you will have the opportunity to encounter zebras, giraffes, eland, topi, other antelope, and Cape buffaloes at close range. Take the trail to the top of the hills to see Lake Mburo and beyond. From this vantage point, you will have a great view of nine of the twelve lakes surrounding the park. Return to the lodge for check-out and then hit the road to Entebbe Airport to catch a flight (at 6:00pm or later).
