Early in the morning you will be picked from the Hotel and transfer to Bwindi National Park. The park is renowned for its population of endangered mountain Gorillas. The park allows visitors to witness these majestic creatures in their Natural habitat. You will have a lunch break in Mbarara town and arrive in the evening at your accommodation near Bwindi.

Gorilla trekking experience

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is an extraordinary adventure that allows you to come face to face with one of the most iconic and endangered species, the Mountain Gorillas. Trek usually starts as early as 8:00am and each group of 8 visitors is assigned to a specific gorilla family. In a company of an experienced guide, you will embark on the journey through dense rain forest in search for Mountain Gorillas. The trek duration can vary ranging from 2-8 hours depending on their movements.
Once the Gorillas are located, you’ll have a maximum of 1 hour enjoying and observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

After an unforgettable morning gorilla trekking adventure, you will return to the hotel to enjoy a delicious lunch and take some time to relax and rejuvenate. Following this, you will embark on a unique cultural experience as you visit the Batwa community to learn about their traditions, customs, and way of life.

Then, you'll commence your journey back to Kampala, making a stop at the Equator for a leisurely lunch and the opportunity to partake in a truly picturesque experience. Thereafter, you will proceed to Kampala/ Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
