Along the way, you'll pass through the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, where you can stop for photography and enjoy scenic views. The Great Rift Valley stretches from the Middle East in the north to Mozambique in the south, and is known for its geological activity, including volcanoes, hot springs, and geysers.

Enjoy an early breakfast, followed by a full day in the park with a picnic lunch break along the Mara River. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during the migration season from early July to the end of September. Zebras, impalas, topis, giraffes, and Thomson's gazelles are regularly seen, as well as leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance (if you are lucky). Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, as are enormous Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. You can also experience an air balloon safari at an extra cost.
Later, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
