Day 1

You will be picked up from Kigali and driven to Lake Bunyonyi, the most beautiful lake in Uganda. Bunyonyi consists of 29 islands and it’s safe for swimming! Lake Bunyonyi offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural experiences and outdoor activities making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Day 2

Face to face interaction with Gorillas

Face to face interaction with Gorillas

Take your early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing before entering the tropical forest. After briefing, the rangers will then lead you into the forest to track these gentle giants the Mountain gorillas and you will spend a maximum of one-hour taking observations; photographs and watching Gorillas feed or play around.

After the trek, setoff for Queen Elizabeth National park, know for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. You will drive through the Ishasha plains and on a lucky day, expect to see tree climbing lions hanging in tree branches as they flee from biting insects. You will arrive at the hotel for lunch, and thereafter you depart for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel a prime spot for birdwatching and aquatic wildlife viewing like crocodiles and hippos.

Day 3

After you early morning cup of tea/coffee, you depart for a morning game through the sprawling savanna grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park to catch up with the early risers. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the large prides of lions, herds of African Elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, and kobs.

Return to your accommodation for late breakfast before checking out and depart for Kibale Forest National Park. Arrive in Kibale Forest for your lunch and overnight stay.

Day 4

Chimpanzee trekking and a visit to Bigodi wetland

Have breakfast and then head to the rangers’ post where you will receive a briefing on the do's and don’ts during chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will proceed to trek the chimps in the Kibale Forest with an experienced ranger guide. The presence of primates here will surely amaze you. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour in their presence observing them up close and personal.

Later, after lunch, head out for the Bigodi Wetlands excursion. Bigodi boasts an extensive array of bio-diversity including a number of primates and birds.
Thereafter, you will return to the accommodation and rest.

Day 5

Transfer to Kampala

Transfer to Kampala

After your breakfast, check out and embark on your journey to Kampala/Entebbe Airport for your outbound departure. Remember to make a stop at the Uganda Equator line mark for some memorable photos while on your safari in the Pearl of Africa. Thereafter, proceed to Entebbe Airport where your driver-guide will gladly drop you off. And that marks an end of your 5 days primate and wildlife safari. We wish you a safe journey!
