Day 1

Upon landing at Arusha Airport (ARK), our designated company representative will greet you and transport you to your first destination in Tarangire National Park. The journey from the airport to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 2 hours. Upon entering the park, your game drive will unveil a mesmerizing stretch of golden savannah encircling the Tarangire River. This river functions as a crucial water source throughout the year, particularly in the dry season, drawing a diverse array of wildlife. The riverbanks, adorned with acacia and baobab trees, are frequented by the park's prominent elephant population, along with zebras and antelopes. While enjoying a riverside picnic lunch, stay vigilant as mischievous monkeys may attempt to snatch your food!

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater and stop at the Crater viewing point. After enjoying the crater view, you will descend into the crater which is 600m deep. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the biggest natural world wonders and is the best place in the world to see the Big Five, you will have the opportunity to interact with people from the Maasai community.

The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the black rhino which can be seen in the open grass it is home to over 25,000 animals including a wide range of bird species, lions, elephants, zebras, and black rhinos. A hot lunch will be served at a picnic area near the hippo pool. After lunch drive you to the heart of Serengeti National Park where you will enjoy a game drive en-route.
Later, you'll arrive at your accommodation where you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Africa Safari Karatu.

Day 3

Today's game drive kicks off at sunrise, providing an optimal opportunity to witness the dynamic activity on the Serengeti Plains. Following a simple breakfast, the morning expedition commences around 6:30 am, a time when the Serengeti comes alive with heightened wildlife and avian activity.

As the sun rises, animals and birds stir, with predators embarking on hunts while herbivores graze on the lush grass. This primetime presents an excellent opportunity to spot a myriad of animals and immerse yourself in authentic adventures, including witnessing animal hunts and capturing unforgettable moments through photography.

You will embark on a full-day game drive around central Serengeti, with a midday break for a bush lunch beneath the shade of a tree. Around 5:00 pm, you will return to the campsite for a well-deserved period of relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Today you will continue exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Your game drive will start early in the morning around 6 am. This is the best time to spot the big cats as they are more active during the cooler hours of the day. During your game drive, you will see a wide variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many more. You will likely stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the park, this will give you a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views of the Serengeti.

In the late afternoon, as you leave Serengeti, you will pass through the Great Rift Valley and stunning landscapes. The drive from Serengeti to Karatu Town is a memorable experience filled with stunning scenery and a chance to see some of Tanzania's diverse wildlife and culture. You will have an en-route game drive to your accommodation, for dinner and an overnight stay at Africa Safari Karatu.

In the early morning, following breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a captivating game-viewing experience. Renowned for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant flamingos along the lakeshore, the park also hosts a diverse array of animals, including elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and Thomson gazelles. Predators such as lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals add to the park's wildlife spectacle.

Lake Manyara National Park is equally celebrated for its scenic beauty, featuring lush acacia forests adorned with giant fig and mahogany trees, serving as the habitat for troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The expansive shallow alkaline lake further enhances the park's charm.

A delightful picnic lunch awaits you at a designated site. As the afternoon unfolds, you will delve deeper into the park for additional exploration. Subsequently, you will make your way back to Arusha City, concluding your adventure with us.
