Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park
You’ll depart the hotel after breakfast and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Although only 205 square miles in size, this enchanting park is known for its beauty and lush acacia forest, which is home to giant fig and mahogany trees, as well as troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The park also hosts large numbers of buffalo, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a hippo-filled lake.
Lake Manyara is renowned for its over 400 bird species, including the ground hornbill and crested eagle. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions and the flamingos along the lakeshore. Game drives take place along the lake, offering stunning views of giraffes and buffalo in the foreground, with the lake, flamingos, and flat plains stretching out in the distance—these make for great photo opportunities! Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge on a full board basis.

Serengeti National Park
Today we’ll drive to Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. The drive is spectacular as you ascend the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a bird's-eye view of the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. As you crest the hillside, the vast Serengeti unfolds before you—an endless expanse of plains. Indeed, the name "Serengeti" means "endless plains" in Kiswahili, and this 18,000-square-kilometer park is home to over two million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebra, and Thomson’s gazelles.
Large predators, such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, are drawn to the area by the abundance of prey that migrates throughout the park. Smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares also inhabit the region, along with nearly 500 bird species.
Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Today, you will wake up for a pre-breakfast safari to spot the animals when they are most active, and to witness a spectacular sunrise over the African savannah—a truly unforgettable experience. You’ll then return to your camp. In the afternoon, you will transfer to Ngorongoro, the eighth natural wonder of the world. With walls rising 2,000 feet and a crater floor spanning 102 square miles, the crater is a virtual Noah's Ark, home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. In fact, it boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet. The crater contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake full of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants here are known for their massive tusks and are some of the most remarkable elephants you'll ever encounter. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
