Day 1

In the morning, your private safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha. Traveling on a well-maintained tarmac road, you'll traverse the gently rolling Maasai plains adorned with scattered acacia trees.

Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant herds. From the elevated vantage point of your open-roof vehicle, soak in the views of seasonal swamps, savanna landscapes, and the meandering Tarangire River.

Set out on a quest to spot various animals, including zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes. There's a chance to catch a glimpse of lions on the prowl or leopards leisurely observing from the trees above.

After an extensive game drive, immersing yourself in the diverse sights and sounds of the wilderness, depart from the park and make your way to a nearby campsite. Nestled in a picturesque setting with troops of monkeys frolicking in the trees, the camp offers a delightful backdrop for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Commence your day with an early breakfast around 7 am. Following the morning meal, we depart from the camp, equipped with a packed lunch, and embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Crater rim, capturing glimpses of wildlife along the way. Stretching across vast, treeless plains, Serengeti National Park hosts an impressive multitude of animals in search of fresh grasslands. As the largest national park in Tanzania, the Serengeti lures thousands of visitors annually, with the prime wildlife-viewing period spanning from December to June. The wet season spans from March to May, while the coldest period occurs between June and October.

The highlight of the park is the annual migration of millions of zebra and wildebeest, typically occurring in May or early June. This natural spectacle is among the most awe-inspiring events, attracting numerous tourists. Upon arrival, we set up tents and savor dinner at the Serengeti Seronera Campsite.

Following this, we set out from the camp, armed with a packed lunch, and continue our journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim, indulging in a game drive en route

Nestled between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area encompasses the renowned volcanic Ngorongoro Crater, standing as one of Tanzania’s most sought-after wildlife viewing destinations.

The colossal volcanic crater boasts a permanent water supply, attracting a diverse array of animals that choose to inhabit this area rather than partake in migration.

This significant archaeological site has unearthed ancient skull and bone fragments, providing invaluable insights into early mankind's history.

Witness the breathtaking spectacle of the sun ascending over the crater's rim as early risers are treated to this mesmerizing view. Following a satisfying breakfast, embark on a thrilling descent down the adventurous track into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's seven wonders. This extraordinary ecosystem, formed millions of years ago in a massive volcanic explosion, boasts dimensions of 610 meters in depth and approximately 260 square kilometers in coverage.

Renowned for its dense animal population of around 25,000, the crater stands out as the prime location for game viewing among Tanzania's parks. Within minutes, encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species inhabiting the area. With a stroke of luck, you may even catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino concealed in the grass.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Fig Tree Lodge & Camp.

Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park showcases a stunning array of landscapes. This picturesque park invites us to relish a picnic lunch amid its diverse habitats, which include rainforests, a soda lake, and sprawling savannah.

Renowned as a haven for birdwatchers, the park boasts over 400 bird species, including migratory ones, thriving within its ecosystem. Lake Manyara is home to the famous tree-climbing lions, along with an impressive array of wildlife such as buffalos, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. As the day winds down, we embark on a drive back to Arusha, reflecting on the captivating sights and experiences encountered in Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 6

Foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro

Today, you will visit the waterfalls which are a walk of around 40 minutes.

The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim, so don‘t forget your swimwear!

After having enjoyed the scenery, you'll slowly return with your guide to Materuni village where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You also will have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer – not to be missed!

The coffee tour is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances – a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Before you say goodbye, you can savor the coffee you made and appreciate the views of the surrounding rainforest.

In the late afternoon, you will be taken to your hotel or the airport, which will conclude your safari.
