Following a morning safari briefing, you'll journey to Tarangire National Park. Marvel at the majestic baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes that characterize this nature reserve. Renowned for its close encounters with elephants, Tarangire is also inhabited by buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, closely trailed by predators like lions. While leopards are occasionally sighted, cheetahs are a rare find. Enjoy panoramic views of the landscape and wildlife from the open roof of your safari vehicle. As the afternoon wanes, depart the park and head to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

In the early morning, you'll journey through the cooler highlands toward the southern Serengeti. By midday, you'll arrive at the expansive plains of Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's largest park boasting diverse habitats – from short grass plains to savannah, thick bush, swamps, and lakes. Throughout the grassy landscape, peculiar rock formations known as kopjes provide ideal spots for predator sightings. The Serengeti is renowned for its annual migration, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras traverse in search of fresh grass and water. Your overnight stay awaits at Tukaone Serengeti Camp, nestled within the park.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

On the final day, we'll descend over 600m into the crater for a half-day safari tour. The Ngorongoro Crater, with its year-round water supply and abundant fodder, sustains a diverse array of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The crater is also home to a dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. We'll explore Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, where flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can be spotted. After lunch, we'll ascend from the crater and return to Arusha/JRO.
