To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start your day with chimpanzee trekking deep in Kibale forest. You are most likely going to hear their call before seeing them.
In the afternoon transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park – a jumble of wonders. 72 extinct volcanic craters envelope the landscape here, their molten cores now filled with lakes, forests and savannah. Enjoy a game drive en-route your lodge.

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Enjoy a boat ride on Kazinga Channel. This boat cruise is dubbed a must-do activity in Uganda. It is a completely different experience altogether. Different wildlife species can be seen while on the boat.
Then later transfer to Africa’s 3rd deepest lake where you will enjoy great views.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Sit back on a 2hour road transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, surrounded by Virunga volcanoes that dominate the landscape. The park can be visited anytime throughout the year. As the name suggests, the forest is dense and impenetrable without help. This is home to over 500 mountain gorillas.

Gorilla Trekking Day!
The previous days long drive is drenched in a magical hour in the company of endangered mountain gorillas. The gorilla trekking is preceded by a briefing usually at 7;30 am where you will be told of the do’s and don’ts and also allotted a ranger plus armed guards in addition to being divided into small groups of 8. It is at this point that you will be handed walking sticks and also asked if you might need to engage a porter.

Transfer to Lake Mburo
At leisure, transfer to Uganda’s smallest lake to break your journey with zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands and beautiful landscapes.
Watch wildlife on foot, bicycle, horseback, or even a boat as an optional activity.
Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem, located conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and is underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks that date back more than 500 million years. It’s home to 350 bird species as well including zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi, and reedbuck.
