Moremi Game Reserve - Black Pools

Moremi Game Reserve - Black Pools

An early morning wake-up call signifies your first full day on safari. After a light breakfast, you will head out on your morning activity in search of abundant wildlife. Returning after a few hours you will have lunch, followed by an afternoon siesta. Tea will be served mid-afternoon and then you will head out on your afternoon activity.

The Okavango Delta is where the Okavango River spreads out to form the largest inland River Delta in the world. Here, very large herds of game come to enjoy the seasonal flood and permanent lakes and rivers in a bid to escape the vast areas of the Kalahari Desert that dominate Botswana.

Enormous herds of elephant, buffalo and antelope congregate during the southern hemisphere winter for the seasonal bounty and are followed by the iconic predators of the African bush. This is a water wonderland that can be enjoyed in its heart by dugout canoes as you silently glide along the waterways viewing the game from a unique position.
