Our guide will meet you in Maun at a pre-arranged time and place whether at your overnight accommodation or direct from your international flight and will prepare you for the journey to your first campsite in Moremi. Once you arrive in Moremi, depending on your time of arrival, you will spend the afternoon exploring the area but will have seen plenty of wildlife on the way.
If you stay in Maun the night before then we leave around 9am but if you arrive and go directly from your flight it will be around 2.30pm.

Day 2

Your first full day on safari begins with an early morning wake-up call. After a light breakfast, you’ll set off on a morning game drive in search of the region’s rich and varied wildlife. After a few hours of exploration, you’ll return to camp for a hearty lunch and enjoy a well-deserved siesta. In the late afternoon, tea will be served before you head out again for your afternoon safari activity.
The Okavango Delta—where the Okavango River fans out to create the world’s largest inland delta—is a breathtaking natural wonder. This unique ecosystem draws large herds of wildlife seeking refuge from the arid Kalahari Desert, offering a dramatic and vibrant display of nature.
During the dry winter months of the southern hemisphere, the Delta teems with life. Massive herds of elephant, buffalo, and antelope gather to take advantage of the seasonal floodwaters, closely followed by Africa’s iconic predators.

Upon returning to camp, a delicious and hearty lunch awaits, prepared fresh by our camp chefs. Afterward, retreat to the comfort of your tent or a shady spot for a restful siesta during the warmest part of the day.
As the afternoon cools and the golden light returns, tea and freshly baked cakes will be served to refresh and ready you for the next adventure. The afternoon activity offers another opportunity to explore the area—perhaps tracking different species, discovering new landscapes, or simply soaking in the changing beauty of the African bush as day turns to dusk.

Your third full day on safari begins once again with the soft call of an early morning wake-up, just as the sky begins to blush with the first light of dawn. Around the campfire, a light breakfast is served—hot coffee, freshly baked rusks, and fruit—fueling you for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, you'll set off on your morning game drive. While the rhythm of the day may feel familiar, no two drives are ever the same in the African wilderness. By now, you’ll be developing a strong sense of the land—recognizing landmarks, animal tracks, and the subtle signs of wildlife activity.
While you're out exploring, the camp crew will break down and pack up the mobile camp in seamless fashion. Every detail is handled with care, so by the time you’ve completed your morning activity, the team is already en route to the next breathtaking location—your new home in the Khwai Private Concession.

After a light breakfast around the fire, you’ll begin your morning activity, but with a peaceful twist: a tranquil mokoro excursion.
Upon returning to camp, a freshly prepared lunch will be served, followed by time to unwind and enjoy a well-deserved siesta during the heat of the day. Whether you retreat to the comfort of your tent or relax under a shady tree, the calm of the afternoon invites rest and reflection.
As the day cools, you’ll head out on your afternoon game drive, continuing your exploration of this rich and diverse ecosystem. The landscape transforms in the golden light, and wildlife sightings become even more magical against the glowing backdrop.

Your final morning in Khwai marks the beginning of the next leg of your adventure. As you enjoy a light breakfast, the camp crew will be busy packing up. You’ll depart on a game drive transfer to the legendary Savuti region, continuing your safari experience en route. Along the way, you’ll stop for a scenic bush lunch before continuing the journey through ever-changing landscapes.
Upon arrival in Savuti, you’ll be welcomed into your new camp, where you’ll have time to settle in. After a short rest, you’ll head out on your afternoon game drive, ready to discover what makes this region so iconic. As dusk falls, you’ll return to camp for a hearty dinner, just in time to share stories under the stars before the bush goes quiet for the night.
