Serengeti Gamedrive

After chowing down the most important meal of the day, your guide will take you on an intriguing journey through the Serengeti National Park for the whole day.

The Serengeti, a sprawling expanse of untamed wilderness in Tanzania, stands as a testament to nature's grandeur and diversity. Its vast savannahs, punctuated by iconic acacia trees and rocky outcrops, provide a stage for one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth "the Great Migration". Here, millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of greener pastures, pursued by predators in a timeless dance of survival. The Serengeti's rich tapestry of life extends beyond the migratory herds to encompass the legendary Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros) as well as a multitude of other species, from graceful giraffes to elusive cheetahs.

Today we recommend waking up early before sunrise. After your cup of coffee, you will head out for a sunrise game drive, and this time most animals are active due to low temperatures and less heat. Around 10 am we'll have a full breakfast in the bush then proceed with en route game drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

When people dream of the Serengeti, it's probably the Central Serengeti they're dreaming of. That's because you're in the perfect place to see all that the Serengeti has to offer, and this is the area of the park where wildlife is present in the biggest numbers.

We will spend overnight at the nice lodge located at Karatu Town.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Following breakfast in the morning, a 20 min drive to the iconic Ngorongoro conservation area is the first order of the day. We'll spend a nice 7-8 hours of the game drive here.

Ngorongoro Crater, often dubbed Africa's Eden, is a natural wonder nestled within Tanzania's northern circuit. This vast volcanic caldera, formed over two million years ago, now cradles a microcosm of diverse ecosystems teeming with wildlife. Renowned as one of the world's most concentrated wildlife habitats, the crater is home to the iconic Big Five, including the endangered black rhinoceros. As visitors descend into the crater's lush plains, they're greeted by a breathtaking panorama of grasslands, woodlands, and shimmering soda lakes. Here, amid the rugged beauty of the crater's walls, Maasai herdsmen coexist harmoniously with an astounding array of wildlife, offering a glimpse into ancient traditions and natural splendor.

After an enjoyable game drive, we ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha.
