After being picked up from the airport, you'll be introduced to your tour guide and chef, kicking off an enchanting journey with a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This renowned park is celebrated for its diverse terrain, featuring ancient baobab trees and boasting the highest concentration of elephants in the country! Prepare for an enthralling experience observing these majestic creatures and witnessing their familial dynamics. Our game drive will navigate through areas known for frequent animal sightings. While herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras abound, spotting predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards requires a keen eye.
After our adventure, we'll head to the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch, relishing picturesque views of the river and surrounding wildlife. Keep an eye out for mischievous monkeys and baboons eager to share our meal! Following lunch, we'll continue our game drive, exiting the park around 4:30 pm.

Ngorongoro crater
The Ngorongoro Crater, with its volcanic soil supporting diverse habitats, offers the rare opportunity to spot the Big Five in just one day. Within the park lies Lake Makat, known as Soda Lake in Masai, providing a sanctuary for numerous bird species.
Additionally, the park is renowned for its Masai communities residing in traditional circular bomas, offering a glimpse into their way of life. Moreover, it's a must-visit for those interested in the history of human evolution, spearheaded by the Leakey family.
Expect to encounter a plethora of animals, including lions, buffalo, wildebeest, various bird species, zebras, hippos, gazelle, jackals, foxes, wild dogs, eland, waterbuck, serval, and other ungulates. However, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants are rarely seen at the crater rim.
As evening falls, you'll be chauffeured back to Arusha, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.

Materuni waterfalls
Materuni, nestled in the heart of the Chagga community, remains an untouched and authentic village. Situated just 15km from Moshi Town, it marks the final settlement before entering Kilimanjaro National Park. Your journey begins in the morning as our English-speaking guide picks you up and transports you to Materuni Village. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the village office, commencing your adventure.
Your first stop will be the magnificent waterfalls, a scenic 40-minute walk away. Along the way, your guide will enlighten you about Chagga culture, village life, and the rich biodiversity of the area. The vistas are awe-inspiring, and if luck is on your side, you might catch a glimpse of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro's summit.
Following this, immerse yourself in a coffee tour, where you'll have the chance to craft your own coffee blend! As the day draws to a close, get ready to return to Arusha or head to the airport, filled with memories of your enriching experience in Materuni.
