Endless Adventures in the vast Serengeti Plains
After breakfast, you'll hop over the border between Kenya and Tanzania, following the route of the great migration via a scheduled morning flight from Masai Mara to Serengeti's Seronera Airstrip (with service stops in Migori and Tarime Airstrips).
The vast Serengeti spreads before you as far as the eyes can see. Serengeti means "endless plains" in Maasai. This 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than two million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. Large predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, are drawn to the area by the abundance of prey that migrates throughout the park.
A guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. You'll arrive in time for lunch, check in, and later enjoy your first-afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti. You'll watch the sunset across the horizon, teeming with wildlife.

This park is home to the Great Migration, when over 1.5 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes start their ever-moving journey. With such a large number of animals, it's only expected to observe many big cats and other large predators attracted to their prey. So take this opportunity to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many other smaller animals reside here, too, not to mention over 500 species of birds.
