Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire Wild Odyssey

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hr). On arrival, you will start off with your game viewing experience in this magnificent park. It is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and a variety of bird species. It is also home to one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country. Enjoy your 6-hour game drive, with packed picnic lunch included. Exit the park and head to your overnight accommodation. After a long day, Ngedere Lodge is the perfect destination for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You will be picked up by the driver from the lodge early and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world, but it is also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa. The crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and the giant African elephant. The crater has a dense population of predators, which include lion, hyena, jackal, cheetah and the ever-elusive leopard. A large number of flamingo, hippo and a variety of water birds can usually be seen here. You will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site. After a long day in the crater, will drive back to Arusha to where you will spend the night.
