Day 2

Following breakfast, your Revelation African Safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation. You'll then embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, which takes approximately two and a half hours on well-maintained tarmac roads. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, a vital water source for wildlife in the region during the dry season, earning it the nickname "river of warthogs". Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, often spotted congregating near the river, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests are commonly sighted, accompanied by various predators such as lions and leopards. Tarangire boasts an impressive diversity of bird species. The park is also home to ancient Baobab trees, some of which are believed to have lived for over a millennium.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park before embarking on a thrilling game drive. Following your exploration, you'll transition to your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 3

Following breakfast, you'll venture into the refreshing highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you catch your first glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater, it presents a scene akin to a forgotten realm. Encircled by steep volcanic walls, this pristine wilderness features vast savannahs, clusters of acacia woodland, and shimmering lakes and marshlands. Formed from the eruption and subsequent collapse of a massive volcano two to three million years ago, Renowned for its geological marvels and serving as a natural sanctuary, it harbors some of the densest populations of large mammals on the African continent. Upon descending into the crater, you'll encounter abundant wildlife including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. This habitat offers unparalleled opportunities to spot the endangered black rhinoceros.
Continuing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you'll transit to the Serengeti, entering from the south of the park.

Following breakfast, you'll set off on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park located 120km west of Arusha. The park offers a unique experience, with everything on a different scale—it's both compact, being one of Africa's narrowest parks, and awe-inspiring, with the towering Great Rift Escarpment looming over Lake Manyara's western boundary. The park's focal point is its namesake shallow salt lake, covering a vast area that floods and dries with the seasons, serving as a habitat for thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other bird species. Keep your eyes peeled for baboons and elephants amidst the park's dense evergreen forest, and be sure to watch out for the famous tree-climbing lions that have garnered acclaim throughout Africa.
