Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel/lodge in Arusha and provide a safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. You will start with an exciting game drive through the vastness of the park and then arrive in good time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on another game drive. Tarangire National Park is famous for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, and it is known for being home to some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. During the game drives, you may also have the opportunity to see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffe, and zebra. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for a delicious dinner.

After breakfast, we will make our way to the Serengeti National Park through the scenic farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we leave the highlands, we will descend into the heart of wild Africa—the vast Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching into the distance. Our destination is the Seronera Area, known for being one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. Here, the Seronera River provides a vital water source, attracting diverse wildlife. We will arrive in time for lunch and then enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. The day will end with a beautiful sunset and a lovely dinner at our Seronera public campsite.

We will have an early breakfast and then drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, also called "Africa's Garden of Eden," for a full-day game drive. This well-preserved natural wonder is home to a variety of wildlife. The crater, a volcanic caldera filled with grassland, forest, and swamp, is a sight of breathtaking beauty. The permanent water on the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals, including leopards, lions, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many others. After the game drive, you will ascend from the crater floor and drive to your hotel in Arusha, which you have booked yourself, for some relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
