Day 1

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route. Rhino trekking at Ziwa Sanctuary allows you to see the endangered Rhinos up close and in their natural habitat. During the trekking experience, you will be accompanied by experienced guides who will lead you through the sanctuary's lush vegetation in search of these magnificent creatures, these guides are knowledgeable about the rhino's behavior, habitat and they will give you valuable insight into these endangered giants. Thereafter you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en route.

Day 2

Game Drive and Nile River boat Safari

The best times for game drives in Murchison Falls National Park are early morning and evening hours when wildlife is most active. Therefore, you will set out early in the morning to explore the park's wildlife. Here, you may have an opportunity to witness predators on the prowl, herbivores grazing, and a wide range of bird species. You can expect to see various wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, and kobs. After the morning game drive, you will return to the hotel for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will drive to the Nile River for an afternoon boat safari. The highlight of the boat cruise is the chance to witness the powerful Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a 7-meter narrow gorge, creating a thunderous waterfall before plunging down. You will also encounter other wildlife, including Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of bird species.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

After a relaxed breakfast at 8 am, we will take a road transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. The park is well-known for its primates such as chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Grey-cheeked mangabeys. We will arrive at Kibale in time for lunch.

After some rest, we will visit the crater lakes of Kibale National Park, which are famously known as the Ndali Kasenda craters. Ndali Kasenda is a natural environment dotted with many volcanic depressions located on the fringe of Kibale National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. We will explore the Kibale Crater lakes for scenic views, primate sightings, and birdwatching.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi wetland walk

In the morning, start your day with breakfast and then head to the rangers’ post for a briefing on the do's and don’ts during chimp trekking. After the briefing, you'll set off on a chimp trek in the Kibale Forest with an experienced ranger guide. You'll be amazed by the variety of primates in this area. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you'll have a full hour to observe them in their natural habitat. After the trek, you will return to the accommodation for lunch.

After lunch, you'll go on an excursion to the Bigodi Wetlands. Bigodi is home to a wide variety of biodiversity, including primates and birds. Following the excursion, return to your accommodation for some rest and dinner.

Start your day with a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation, then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive early to have lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look out for wild animals such as reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthog, elephant, lion, and buffalo, as you take in the magnificent scenery of Queen Elizabeth NP.

After the game drive, return to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will go on a real Ugandan African adventure, traversing through the bush of Queen Elizabeth National Park. On this game drive, you have the chance to see hippo, leopard, elephant, lion, and other mammals, as well as over 500 species of birds such as Red collared-widowbird, Rufous necked wryneck, Greater painted snipe, Black and white casqued Hornbill, Palm-nut vulture and Double toothed-barbet.

In the afternoon, you will head to Kazinga Channel for a boat ride to view the area's wildlife, including the prehistoric crocodile. Once again, you can feast your eyes on the wonderful wildlife while enjoying a thrilling cruise along the Kazinga channel. Thereafter you will return to the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Today, you will set off quite early with a packed breakfast and head out for an early morning game drive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park to catch sight of the famous tree-climbing lions. On a lucky day, you may spot these giants lazing up in the trees. Expect to see a number of elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, or hyenas. Afterward, we will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 8

Gorilla trekking experience

Gorilla trekking experience

Today, we begin our adventure with the highly anticipated Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla tracking. For most people, this is the absolute highlight of their tour in Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park boasts over 400 mountain gorillas and also hosts five other species of primates, 113 species of mammals, over 200 species of butterflies, and 360 species of birds.

Gorilla trekking usually takes 2-8 hours, depending on the gorillas' location. Once they are found, you will have the opportunity to observe them engaging in various activities. You'll have one hour to spend in their presence.
After Gorilla tracking, your guide will lead you to the Batwa pygmies community, indigenous people who traditionally lived in the Bwindi Impenetrable forest. You can expect to interact with them and gain a deeper understanding of their culture.

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Kampala. You will have lunch along the way, stopping at the Equator to take breathtaking pictures and shop for souvenirs. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be dropped off at the Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your safari.
