Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to Zanzibar Airport. During the 1.5-hour flight departing from Zanzibar Airport, you will fly overhead the Indian Ocean, the hinterland of Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the vast expanse of the Serengeti before making your descent to Seronera Airstrip. The views from above are undeniably magnificent. Within half an hour of disembarkation from the aircraft, you will be in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, ready to take all in that Serengeti has on display for you. Around midday, there will be a picnic stop for lunch and a leg stretch, and off you go again. Late afternoon, you will be driven to Matawi Serengeti Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

The crater has the highest concentration of animals in Africa. It is home to many lion prides, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and many more species. Nowhere else offers a chance to spot the rare black rhinos as good as this. After a great day in Ngorongoro Crater, your driver guide will take you to Bougainvillea Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

Enjoy another beautiful adventure day. After an early breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro to have enough time for a game drive inside the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is managed to balance wildlife conservation with the needs of local communities. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its natural beauty and ecological significance. The crater is home to a variety of wildlife, including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebra, hippo, hyena, cheetah, and a range of antelope species. The crater's environment supports a healthy population of herbivores and predators, making it a prime location for wildlife viewing.

A picnic lunch will be served at the picnic site. Later, you will drive to the lodge to relax. Today You will have dinner and an overnight stay at Ngare Lodge.

Tarangire National Park to Airport

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless riverbed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland mass the decreased lagoons. This national park holds migrants during the Dry season and is a welcoming home to elephants. Return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
