After an early breakfast, you’ll go to the Western corridor to see the great migration. Our safari guide will find the best spot. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will know why the name means, in Swahili, "endless plains". The park has 6,900 sq. miles; for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distances.

It is the home of the great migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes, including the abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. We will continue the game drive for the whole day. Once the game drives are over, we will drive to Mbalageti Tented Camp for relaxation, dinner, and our overnight stay.

Transfer from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

On this day, we suggest waking up early for an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and seeing one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. After a delicious breakfast, our tour driver guide will pick you up from your camp with picnic lunch boxes. You will spend the whole day at Serengeti for game viewing.

Serengeti National Park is the only place to witness millions of migrating wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. You will also see predators such as leopards, lions, cheetahs, and wild dogs as they follow the herbivores during the migration. You will proceed and enter Ngorongoro National Park, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World, where our driver guide will lead you into an amazing evening game drive. Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will start the day very early and descend to the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth.

The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft-high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations where you can witness the black rhino. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest on the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a significant concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants, the largest in the world, with huge tusks.

After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive, ascend the crater, and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
