At 06hr30 you’ll be collected from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.
The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Ngorongoro Crater-Arusha City
An early start is on the agenda today as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater soon after having your morning cup of tea at 06hr30. Once you have reached Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will descend down an adventurous path into the 600m caldera.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, this massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25 000 mammals such as spotted hyenas and the “Big Five” – elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard and lion. You will enjoy lunch at a picnic spot inside the crater at 13hr00, before continuing your search for wildlife still unseen. In the late afternoon at 15hr30 you will leave the conservation area and head back to Arusha with a drop off at the hotel or airport.
