On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a Lucas African Adventure representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay will be at Tulia Spa & Hotel, which is a calm hotel located in the suburbs of the city with a natural setup and a beautiful garden awaiting your safari the following day.

Day 2

This day will be spent on the city tour. You will have time to move around the city for a day city tour. You will visit the Clock Tower and have a walk to the Maasai Market to the Arusha Declaration Monument and Museum. You will also visit the central local market to learn about different African spices, vegetables, and fruits.

Day 3
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
In the early morning after breakfast, you will depart to Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. After a packed lunch, you'll head for our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater

In the early morning after breakfast, you will depart to Ngorongoro Crater. You will have an opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino and large families of lions. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. It is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. Later on, you'll drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
You will enjoy an early breakfast and set off on your game-viewing drive to explore this incredible park. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart from the migrating herds, you may see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions plying their rough trade. After a full day of beautiful experience, you'll have a packed lunch and depart for an overnight relaxation.

Day 6
Central Serengeti National Park to Northern Serengeti National Park

After a morning breakfast, you'll head from central Serengeti to northern Serengeti. The Central Serengeti, lying at the heart of this spectacular national park, is the most popular region in the reserve for its abundant wildlife, large numbers of big cats, and quintessential Serengeti landscapes of acacia-studded savanna. In the Northern Serengeti, you will cross the Mara River in the Kogatende Area. You will experience prime wildlife viewing during a Great Migration safari as tons of different animals from small to large are abundant and full of life during this time of the year. The river crossing is at its height in August and lasts until September. The mega herds move non-stop as they follow the rain, and head to greener pastures. You will witness predators running after the crowds as they prey on large animals. The height of action in Kogatende is at its peak during August. Thus, if you want a remarkable safari tour, this is the best time to head to the Mara River.

After breakfast at the camp, you will have a short game drive in the park while exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of large predators and the gentle herbivorous, on which they feed. Later on, you'll depart to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar.
