Day 1

Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

At 5:00am, a driver will pick you up and take you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, no matter where you stay in Zanzibar. You will arrive in Arusha at 9:20am and be greeted by a professional guide, who will brief you on your upcoming journey. After the briefing, you will drive for 2 hours to Tarangire National Park.

On the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of grassland plains scattered with ancient baobab trees, traditional Masai huts, and livestock herded by nomadic people.

Tarangire National Park is known for its enormous baobab trees, tree-climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Following a midday picnic lunch, you will continue your afternoon game drive before heading to the beautiful Migombani Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

You will depart for Serengeti National Park after breakfast.

This route will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, allowing you to see the Ngorongoro Crater. Prepare to encounter plenty of wildlife during this drive, as there is sometimes a significant concentration of game on the southern plains.

During the journey, you will stop for a picnic lunch before continuing and arriving at Nyani Campsite in the evening.

Today is our last day in the Serengeti, and we plan to make it memorable! After breakfast, we will pack a lunch and embark on an early morning, 6-hour game drive to enjoy the stunning beauty, diverse landscapes, and amazing wildlife of the Serengeti one last time.

After the game drive, we will return to our campsite for lunch, pack our belongings, and then drive to Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping along the way for more wildlife viewing. We will spend the night at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Ngorongoro Simba Campsite and descend 600m (2,000ft) into the crater for your final wildlife viewing experience. This incredible location is home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, including the elusive black rhinoceros (if you are fortunate enough to spot one, consider yourself extremely lucky).

Near a hippo lake, lunch will be served at the crater's base around midday. Afterward, you can take your final photographs in the park before being transferred back to Arusha and then to Zanzibar.
