After a light breakfast at sunrise, you will say goodbye to Moremi Game Reserve and head for the Khwai Concession. The Khwai Concession provides a patchwork of lagoons, shallow flooded pans, open grass plains, and woodland forests. The Khwai area is known for having some of the best game viewing in the Okavango Delta.
The Khwai area is abundantly populated with hippo, crocodile, roan and sable antelope, buffalo, zebra, impala and giraffe. The concession’s elephant herds are widespread, as are the resident predators such as lion, leopard, spotted hyena, Cheetah, and the endangered African wild dog who revel in the opportunities afforded by a rich abundance of prey.

Khwai Concession
Leave camp in the early morning just after a light breakfast. Listen to the sounds of the waking bush as you drive further into the Khwai Concession for another day of game viewing.
The Khwai River forms a border of Moremi Game Reserve, which is the only officially protected and preserved part of the mesmerising Okavango Delta. It is also highly regarded for its excellent and reliable wild dog sightings. Crocodiles are often seen sunning themselves on sandy river banks while hippos and fish eagles dominate the deep lagoons.
Enjoy an amazing sunset and sundowner by the riverside before heading back to camp after a full day of adventure.
