Zanzibar to Selous/ Nyerere National Park

Fly from Zanzibar to Selous early in the morning. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport in Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Selous, our guide will meet you at Mtemere Airstrip and start a game drive. At 10 am, you will have breakfast, followed by a continued game drive until lunchtime. In the late afternoon, you will head to the lodge. After some relaxation, the guide will take you for a night game drive and dinner in the park. There is a great chance to spot wild cats, as they are active during the night. Animals you may see include leopards, lions, genets, civets, porcupines, rabbits, bush babies, and more.

Selous Wildlife Drive, Boat Tour, and Hot Springs

After breakfast, we'll have a full-day game drive in the park. We'll bring a packed lunch and get to see lakes and different animals. Later on, we'll head to a hot spring near the mountains. If possible, we can take a swim or bath while enjoying the beautiful landscape of Nyerere National Park and its animals. After the game drive, there's a private boat safari in the evening before dinner and overnight stay.

Explore Nyerere NP until the afternoon, then fly to Zanzibar

Early in the morning, you can choose to visit a Maasai village or go on a bushwalking safari in the Selous with a Bushman. After breakfast, there's another option for a village walking safari. In the afternoon, you'll have lunch and then check out to head to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. However, we can adjust the activities based on what you prefer. When you arrive in Zanzibar, our driver will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel.
