Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park boasts a striking location, highlighted by a vast but shallow soda lake covering two-thirds of the park. This diverse habitat attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants. Notably, the park is renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions and hosts large flocks of flamingos, lured by the algae in the lake.
