Game Drive In Serengeti National Park

You'll enjoy an unlimited mileage, fully customizable day of Serengeti discovery. As you make your way up the slope, a stunning view opens up before you—the unending Serengeti. Merging with Kiswahili, the term Serengeti means "endless plains."

Covering an area of about 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 square miles), this park provides a sanctuary for approximately 2 million large mammals, such as hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests. Huge predators such as hyenas, cheetahs, and lions are drawn to the park's abundance of prey as they track the migratory patterns. This rich habitat is home to a wide variety of small animals, including rock hyraxes, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares. You can see about 500 different bird species in this region.

In the late afternoon, you will go on a game drive on your way to the camp, where you'll have a wonderful dinner and spend the night.
