Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Today’s journey takes you to the famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Wildebeest Migration. The drive through the highlands offers a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the Ngorongoro Crater. As you crest the hillside, the vast expanse of the Serengeti (18,000 sq. km) unfolds before you, stretching as far as the eye can see.

The Serengeti, meaning "endless plains" in Kiswahili, is home to over two million large mammals, including more than a million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. The abundance of prey attracts large predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Smaller wildlife, such as rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares, also thrive here, alongside nearly 500 bird species.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the public campsite on full board.
