Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early morning breakfast, embark on an extraordinary 8-hour journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, a geological marvel ranked among the world's most incredible and renowned Natural Wonders. This colossal, unbroken caldera took shape around three million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed.

The Ngorongoro Crater boasts the highest concentration of large game animals in Africa, housing the majestic Big Five and a diverse array of predators. As a truly exceptional place, it rightfully holds a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Upon descending into the crater, you'll find yourself surrounded by a vast expanse teeming with wildlife. The steep crater walls rise from 400 to 610 meters above the crater floor, encompassing a base area of 264 square kilometers (with a diameter of 19 kilometers). In the afternoon, your journey will proceed towards Arusha, where you'll enjoy an overnight stay, preparing for the adventures that await you on the following day.
