Zanzibar - Serengeti National Park

Today, you'll head to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a game drive to the northern section of the park, where you might witness the Great Migration near the Mara River. Keep an eye out for animals crossing! An afternoon game drive is also planned, followed by dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

The Serengeti is home to around three million big animals. Many of them participate in the awesome seasonal migration, which is like nature's magic trick. The park is vast, covering 14,763 sq km, and its name means "endless plains" in the Maasai language. Cool, right?

After your morning adventure in the Serengeti, we'll drive you to the Kogatende Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Did you know there are some cool lion gangs just about an hour's drive from Seronera? In the dry season, these lions move around a bit and gather in the central area of the Serengeti, making it an awesome time for spotting them. The central Serengeti is also a hotspot for finding the sneaky leopards. Keep your eyes peeled, and you might catch sight of these majestic cats hanging out in the branches of sausage trees along the Seronera River. How cool is that?
