Day 1

Mombasa or Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park

Mombasa or Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park

You'll have an early morning departure from your hotel driving along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway. You'll enter the vast Tsavo East National Park, the biggest park in Kenya covering an area of about 13,747 square Kilometer. You'll have morning wildlife viewing in search of elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, etc. An excellent buffet lunch awaits you at Safari Lodge or Luxury Tented Camp. You'll enjoy an afternoon relaxation before going for the afternoon wildlife viewing. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge or tented camp.

Day 2

Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park

You'll proceed to Tsavo West National Park after breakfast. The park is famous for the Mzima Springs, with its unique underwater hippo observatory. Both Tsavos are famous for the largest population of red-skinned elephants. The Big Five African animals are well represented in addition to other small animals. Kenyan birds as well as giraffes, zebras, and plains game can be found here.
Above all, from Lake Jipe to the mountain forests of the Chyulu Hills, the wide range of landscapes offers protection to many endangered African wildlife. These include the Cosen’s gerbil, Hunter’s hartebeest, several species of shrew and rat, and wild dogs. You will have a game drive en route to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Finally, you'll have an afternoon game drive. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay at a tented camp.

Day 3

Tsavo West to Taita Salt Lick

After breakfast, you will leave with a game drive en route to Salt Lick. The lodge is ‘famed for being among the world's most photographed lodges.' The lodge is built a top stilts overlooking a water hole. It is designed for lofty wildlife viewing from its thatched roof rondavels and walkways. You'll arrive in time for lunch. After that, an afternoon game drive will follow. Animals expected to be seen include the Big Five, giraffes, elephants, and many more. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the luxury lodge.

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge with a morning game drive in the sanctuary searching for animals you didn't see the previous day. You'll drive out of the sanctuary heading to Mombasa with a stopover in Voi for lunch. You will arrive in Mombasa early evening.
