After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park via Thompson Falls in Nyahururu. Lunch is en route, and afternoon game viewing drives are at Lake Nakuru National Park.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population, which is one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, many animals, such as large game animals like zebras, elephants, and gazelles, are to be encountered. This is also one of our best chances of seeing rhinos and one of the few places we can see Rothschild's giraffes. Lake Nakuru National Park was first selected as a rhino sanctuary in Kenya.
