Upon arrival at Amani Abeid Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to Arusha City. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport (ARK), our friendly representative and experienced driver guides will greet you warmly. He will take you to your accommodation in Arusha City, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting times ahead.

Day 2-3
Arusha City to Ndutu following the Great Migration
Arusha City to Ndutu following the Great Migration
After breakfast, we head towards the far south of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Ndutu. Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game. The Ndutu Region forms part of the northern section of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stretches to the unfenced southern reaches of the Serengeti National Park, a meeting point between these two incredible wilderness areas. After Lunch and an extensive game drive, you will head straight to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight. You will spend two nights at Kontiki Ndutu Camp.

Southern Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Ndutu and drive straight to Ngorongoro Crater after an early morning breakfast. You will then descend the crater almost 600m deep for game viewing. The interesting part of Ngorongoro Crater is that it is the best place in East Africa to witness the endangered black rhinos which completes the Big 5. In Ngorongoro, you can find animals like Zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, lion pride, gazelles, impalas, kudus, waterbucks, buffalos, and many more.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site. Afterward, you will continue with your game drive until the late afternoon, ascending the crater and driving straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Tarangire National Park to Arusha City
Tarangire National Park to Arusha City
After breakfast, your driver will drive you to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is located in northern Tanzania with a wide variety of animals and landscapes; the best part is the elephant herds. It is known to be the park with the greatest concentration of African elephants and ancient baobab trees. Lunch will be served inside the park and after that, you will continue with your final game drive until the late afternoon when you will exit the park and drive straight to Arusha City for departure back home or any other destination of your choice.
