Dar es salaam to Nyerere National Park

Day one of your Nyerere National Park safari begins with an early morning pick up from your Dar es Salaam hotel or the airport. You'll embark on a 5hour scenic drive to Nyerere National Park, passing through local villages and stunning landscapes. We will have our hot lunch during the afternoon before arriving at the hotel

Upon arrival, you'll check into your tented lodge before setting off on a thrilling boat safari down the Rufiji River. Here You'll have the chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, and many other animals as your expert guide shares fascinating facts about the ecosystem of the mighty river.

As the sun sets, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and a restful night's sleep surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Full Day Game Drive inside the Park

The second day of your safari, you'll wake up early for a full day of game drive in the Park. This vast wilderness is home to an incredible array of wildlife, from big cats like lions and leopards to towering elephants, graceful giraffes, and speedy antelopes.

Your experienced guide will navigate the park's terrain, taking you to the best spots for wildlife viewing and sharing insights into the animals' behaviors and habitats. You'll have plenty of opportunities to get up close to the animals, watching as they graze, hunt, and interact with each other in their natural environment.

Along the way, you'll stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush. After lunch, you'll continue your game drive, exploring different areas of the park and searching for elusive species like African wild dogs.

Walking Tour & Transfer to Dar es Salaam

On the third and final day of your safari, you'll have one last chance to explore Nyerere National Park on a morning walking safari with an armed ranger. This is a great opportunity to see any animals you may have missed earlier in your trip or to get one last look at your favorite species before departing the park and head out to the infamous Masai village (Boma). experience their unique nomadic culture and their upkept ancient traditions

After your walking adventure, you'll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and some final relaxation time before checking out and beginning the journey back to Dar es Salaam. Along the way, you'll have the chance to stop at local markets and shops to pick up souvenirs and meet some of the friendly locals.

You'll arrive back in Dar es Salaam in the early evening and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, bringing an end to your unforgettable safari adventure in Tanzania.
