Day 1

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, an Arcadia Safaris driver-guide will meet you at the airport to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Kampala for an overnight stay. This will be a great opportunity to rest and relax after a long flight.

Day 2
Transfer to Kapchorwa (Sipi Falls Hike and Coffee Tour)

After an early breakfast, you will start on your adventurous Journey from your hotel in Kampala to Kapchorwa. The journey is characterized by beautiful scenery as you drive to Kapchorwa (Sipi Falls). You will arrive in the evening, have dinner, and overnight.

Day 3
Sipi Falls Hike and Coffee Tour
Sipi Falls Hike and Coffee Tour
After an early breakfast, head out to hike the Sipi Falls. After the briefing, you will join fellow hikers and walk through the dense green vegetation to the falls. There are 3 falls in the area falling freely from heights of 100m (the biggest) and the main fall, 85m and 75m. If you are fit enough, you will conquer all 3 of the falls. The views from the top of these falls are breathtaking; landscapes make the place one of the most beautiful areas in the country. Once you have reached these falls, you can do abseiling at an additional cost. Walk back to the starting point and drive to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
After lunch, you will take a coffee tour around the community, where you will learn about coffee from planting to roasting. This interesting activity allows you to interact with the community people at a personal level. After the coffee tour, you drive back to the lodge for a golden sunset over the cascading hills of Sebei.

Day 4
Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. It is the most isolated park in the country. It gives an authentic African wilderness setting with large herds of buffaloes, elephants, zebras, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. It is the only park in Uganda where ostriches can be found in the wild. It houses over 300 bird species and the unique, beautiful secretary bird. The area has a unique blend of the Karamajong and Ik cultures, making it a famous destination for cultural tourism. The drive usually takes approximately 7- 8 hours. Check in at the lodge during the evening for relaxation and overnight.

Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park and Nature Walk
Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park and Nature Walk
After breakfast, you will drive to the savannah plains of Kidepo Valley National Park for game drives. The park hosts a variety of animal species compared to other parks in Uganda. You will have a high chance of seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, elands, bushbucks, leopards, spotted hyenas, and more. You will have your lunch break before going for a nature walk through the Narus Valley, meet members of the endangered IK community and wander the splendid Kidepo River Valley between the banks of the Borassus Palm Forest. Then, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Cultural Encounter and Afternoon Game Drive in Kidepo
Have breakfast at the hotel, and then drive to the nearby village in Kidepo to visit the notorious cattle-herding Karamojong, which occupies Northern Uganda. Discover the unique culture of this remote community with the Lorokul cultural group's work cattle keepers.
Visit the Karamojong homesteads, granaries, and cattle enclosures and learn more about the villagers. Enjoy a lunch break before a game drive, and you'll have more chances to see what you missed on the previous game drive. See bush duikers, jackals, bush pigs, ostriches, buffaloes, and much more in the Narus Valley. Finally, drive back to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Transfer Back to Kampala or Entebbe via Aruu Falls
Transfer Back to Kampala or Entebbe via Aruu Falls
After breakfast, say goodbye to Kidepo Valley National Park. En route, take a game drive out of the park as you drive to Pader District for a stopover at Aruu Falls. It is a very beautiful place in a calm, green environment. The water falling over the old rocks, forming a plunge pool downstream, makes it beautiful for interesting photographs.
You may swim in this natural swimming pool before returning to Gulu for lunch and continuing on your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight home.
