5-Day Greater Kruger and National Park Safari

Transfer to Kruger National Park

Your safari adventure begins at 07.45 at OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal with a shuttle transfer. The scenic drive takes you across 3 provinces and once you reach your destination after approximately 6 hours, you'll meet your safari guide and we'll continue the journey with a private vehicle. Upon arrival in Kruger National Park you get to enjoy your first afternoon safari, before we arrive at the rest camp where you'll spend the night in twin or three bed bungalows with private bathroom. In the evening you'll enjoy a delicious dinner served at the boma (camp fire) prepared by our guide / chef.

Kruger National Park Safari

You awake at sunrise to get ready for your morning safari. While you enjoy your morning rusk and hot drink, you take in the morning sounds and smells of the bush. You will be on one of the first vehicles leaving the camp as gates open in the morning, with the privilege of exploring the gravel and tar roads before anyone else. Later, your guide will prepare a hot breakfast for you, then we continue our drive until the sun is already high in the sky and it’s time for a lunch break, siesta in your cool tent or dip in the pool back at camp. In the afternoon, we will continue with our safari and spend some time on the roads surrounding the camp in search of more animal sightings and later return to the rest camp for another night.

Safari in Kruger National Park

You get to enjoy another day of private safari on an open safari vehicle in the national park with your knowledgeable guide. Your expert guide provides incredible insights and captivating information about the African bush and its inhabitants. Enjoy lunch at your own account at the rest camp restaurant, and relax by the pool or in your room at the hottest hours of the day, before we continue with our safari. Dinner is served by your guide.

National Park Safari and Private Game Reserve

Today it's time to say good bye to the National Park. After breakfast you get to enjoy another morning safari, until we reach the exit gate and make our way to Hoedspruit. After a light lunch (own account) and check in at your lodge, rest by the pool and wait for your afternoon safari in the private game reserve to begin at around 15:00. Dinner will be served after the safari at your lodge.

Morning Safari and Return to Johannesburg

Your last day begins early, with another chance to see animals in one of the private game reserves before leaving Kruger National Park, and returning to the shuttle location, where the shuttle departs at 11 am. You will be back at OR Tambo Airport by 6pm.
